After calling several home painting companies in the area, I just about gave up finding someone to come out on short notice and complete a project for me. I decided to give Happy Home a call and to my surprise the owner answered the phone. I explained what I needed done and he told me that they could do it the next morning! He also gave me a price quote over the phone based on my square footage of the area. His crew came out on the exact minute quoted and painted my popcorn ceiling in my kitchen in less than two hours. Very impressed and satisfied with the service. It's really hard to find reliable home improvement companies and if you need painting assistance...look no further!

I contract Happy Home Painting to paint eight(8) interior rooms of my home. The owner, Doug, is very nice, knowledgeable and professional. His painters/workers, however, leave a lot to be desired. The job is promised to take only two(2) days-- finished before Christmas day. Instead it takes longer. The walls and house are in a mess for the holidays. My husband and I have to constantly check behind the painters to make them do the job correctly. They appeared to be annoyed and to become very defensive whenever an issue is politely pointed out to them. Walls are painted that have been patched, but never sanded. An extra coat of paint is needed to completely cover an old color or some areas painted are "streaky". The mirrors in the bathrooms and some other fixtures are initially painted AROUND, rather than taken off the wall to paint behind them. What "professional" does that? I have painted the interior of two(2) homes before, myself, and my workmanship was superior to these guys! One of the painters plugs his radio into our kitchen wall socket BACKWARDS. This ends up springing the socket. Now it is broken and can not be used. This is witnessed, he doesn't even bother to tell us that he has broken it!One of the painters, a female, even makes a racist remark/joke toward one of my toddler daughters. In the end, we are charged $80.00 EXTRA! The foreman claims that this is because they have to use additional paint to correct errors that we are pointing out to them on one of the bedroom walls. So, the customer gets charged extra because they are asking you do the job that you are being paid to do-- and that you did not do correctly in the first place? The professionalism of paying attention to detail and the craftsmanship of painting a smooth, even finish is not to be expected with this company. As a customer, you will be penalized for asking for such!WOW!We pay the extra. By then, we just want these people out of our home!We have some other paint projects that we are needing to be done. We definitely will NOT be contacting Happy Home Painting !

Have used these folks for years with mixed results, some good some bad. This last time was beyond bad. We had just spent $15,000 on a new bathroom had Doug send one of his "top notch" guys to paint it. This guy didn't cover up anything in the room, nothing. When I get home there was paint & Kilz all over the floor, sink, walls, etc. The guy left rags all over the yard, didn't replace the light switch covers, left the hair dryer in the sink unmounted off the wall. Doug called this guy "one of the best" this was the poorest excuse of a professional I've ever encountered. We are moving away from any further use of Happy Home after this our 3rd bad experience, bon voyage!

We contracted Doug Svehaug of the Happy Home Painting to paint our house (about 3000 Square ft). It took them three weeks. Doug was prompt in responding to queries and in scheduling. We could communicate with him through email, text, and by telephone easily. His crew included Ozvaldo (Ozzy) as the lead-painter. The crew were prompt in arriving at work every day of the three weeks. Ozzy was very courteous, and professional in managing the other painters and in intricate painting done by him. Ozzy was very prompt in attending to any corrections we suggested. Entire team was amicable and cooperative. We did not feel strangers were around when they were painting. Doug's team did a superb job and it comes with a five year warranty. We found some isuues in the painting in one of the rooms. Called Doug and he promptly sent Ozzy to fix the problems. I will certainly hire Happy Home Painting again for any type of painting work.
