Mr. Brick gave me sound advice in quick time when I consulted him on a work related injury. Unfortunately my case was in SC and he was just in FL at the time. His consult was perfect and he directed me to someone who could handle my case. Because of Alex, and what he told me to do, I received a settlement that was far higher than expected. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As an experienced attorney with a new practice, I keep my fee low. I charge an hourly rate of $150. I also include a free weekly meeting scheduled by me to keep you informed about the status of your case.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask for important information about the facts surrounding the legal issue during the first free consultation. I research the issue and respond the next day with a plan summary to discuss forming an attorney-client relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with honors from FAMU College of Law and FSU College of Law while working full time. My prior career experiences as a US Merchant Marine, a Naval Reservist, and a residential construction worker help me relate to clients' legal issues. I have argued hundreds of cases and supervised attorneys in high volume litigation. I feel comfortable preparing clients for trial and arguing cases in the courtroom.
