FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends upon the complexity of the case. Obviously a high conflict case will run up fees. I try whenever possible to guide my client's toward settlement, especially because it reduces the stress on the family. I usually meet with the client first, to determine their needs and goals, and once we do that, I can quote a realistic retainer. I keep my rates competitive as I believe that everyone should have access to legal counsel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a boutique firm, and am very hands on with my clients. My staff is very supportive and we work to keep the lines of communication open at all times. Because of the information needed to prepare the paperwork, we work with our clients to direct them on how to obtain and provide the information back to us. I have support staff available to answer routine procedural questions and will speak to me and relay answers back to my clients on more complicated matters. More often than not, I will return the call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Juris Doctor degree, and a license to practice law. I was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997 and have been a sole practitioner since 2000. I have extensive experience in conducting trials as well as in settling matter through mediation.
