FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, the standard is between $100 hr (basic package) & can go up to $200 hr(deluxe package). There are also a couple other factors to consider, such as the number of venues, number of setups, etc. I always remind the clients that the music is usually the most memorable portion of most parties. A DJ can either make or break that experience. It is more important to find 1 that knows how to engage & entertain, more so than finding 1 that has the fanciest website & cheapest rate. However, I also make every effort to be as flexible as I can to work within my clients budget & give the fairest price possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to provide a 1 page questionnaire to my clients. It has a number of questions that is helpfull in creating a tenative schedule as well as song selections for specific highlight moments throughout their event. After the client has had an opportunity to review & answer the preference questions, we than set a time to discuss their choices & it really helps in organizing the music portion of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began DJing in San Diego over 10 years ago. I have played venues, festivals, concerts, weddings & parties of most every kind imaginable. DJing is truly a passion of mine & I thouroughly love performing & playing to a crowd. I always make it my personal mission to make sure everyone is having a great time. Through all the years DJing I have really learned how to read a crowd & give them everything they want & more.
