Steve (owner) responded promptly and professionally. He also gave me a deal because I used Thumbtack. Ethan showed up as promised and took care of clogged drain. He left the work area clean and tidy. I am a happy customer.

Steven's worker installed the unit, but there are two problems: 1. We were not informed that a circulating pump would be needed in order to have immediate hot water which would have been an additional $500 2. There was not housing put around the pipes so the result is an ugly array of pipes protruding from the wall. Steven is looking into putting housing around the pipes to the tune of $100. Just wish these two items had been addressed prior to installment.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically have set prices for various plumbing jobs. I currently charge $85 hr for miscellaneous work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from a plumbing code class at Harbor Occupational Center in San Pedro, CA. I am a certified installer for socket fusion, butt fusion, track and gas tight gas piping. I am also certified in Uponor Pex water piping. I took a class to study the law and plumbing trade for my C36 plumbing license.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I think it would be best if the customer has as much information as I possibly could about their project in order to relate to the plumber. That way the plumber can be prepared before hand
