Introduction: Hello! I am interested in learning more about you and how I might be able to help you with your tutoring, editing, or writing needs. I am a writer, an academic, a student, and I have been a college instructor for over ten years and have graded a lot of essays. A lot! I have experience writing resumes, cover letters, helping people apply to internships, write personal statements, and I have edited and given advice and insight on a wide variety of college papers, from essays and book reports, to final papers and full dissertations. I have worked with authors on their manuscripts - first novels, poetry chapbooks, plays, scripts, you name it!, and I have helped people work through writers block and creativity challenges. I have also worked with nonprofits and government agencies to write grants, frame issues, and share my consulting and academic expertise in issues of sociology and urban studies, helping people put theory and research into practice. I love working with people who are striving to learn and to grow in life. I enjoy helping people practice new writing and thinking skills, and I am happy to share what I know and do all I can.
