Introduction: I am an English Professor with 25 years of experience teaching writing, grammar, and critical thinking skills to high school, college, and adult students. My specialty is teaching writing and helping students develop stronger writing skills. Most recently, I have been working with graduate students who are enrolled in courses or writing their thesis or dissertations. Because I teach online English courses, I am able to work effectively with out-of-state students or local students. Bonnie Boaz is a colleague of mine at the university where we both teach English, and we've worked closely together for about 15 years. She works with college students to improve critical thinking and writing skills, from grammar and sentence-level revisions to the careful and thoughtful crafting of long, researched essays. Bonnie can help students at all levels (as she taught high school for many years before teaching college), from those who need help with basic sentences and construction of paragraphs to those who want to be challenged to really push their writing to new levels. Because she has taught writing at so many different levels, she can effectively help high school students as well as those at university.
