Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Over the past eight years I've supported hundreds of people through their job searches. As a corporate recruiter and career education specialist, I've seen first hand how recruiters, hiring managers and candidates approach the hiring process. I use these insights to help struggling job seekers land their next gig. Whether you live to work or work to live - if you want to work, I don't think finding a job should be so hard. I enjoy making the job search process a bit easier and helping people find work that's meaningful for them.

I found working with Jessica to be exceptional. She paid close attention to my needs, and was excellent at helping me tailor my resume toward the jobs that I was applying for. In addition to focusing on my objectives, she asked thoughtful questions and provided essential constructive feedback. Overall, Jessica was instrumental in elevating the impact and strength of my resume!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Resume Review: 30 minute consultation + one round of edits, $50 Cover Letter Review: 20 minute consultation + one round of edits, $30 Interview Prep: 45 minute consultation, $50 Overall Job Search Strategy: 1 hour consultation on resume and cover letter review, interview prep and overall search support: $150

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For resume and cover letter reviews, I typically request the resume/cover letter and any potential job descriptions in advance. I review and make initial suggestions followed by a 30 minute phone consultation. Then, customers have a chance to make edits and I will do one second-round review. I do not write resumes or cover letters for customers - - I always recommend that customers do the writing. Ultimately they will have to 'sell' their experience in an interview and back it up on the job. For interview prep, I typically request the job description in advance and any specific concerns/areas that customers would want to focus on. In the 45 minute consultation I typically do 15 minutes of introduction/discussion followed by 30 minutes of interview practice and feedback.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over eight years of experience in career education, human resources and recruiting.
