FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a general rule, the price increases as the number of tax forms required to file increases. The majority of my customers however will most likely take advantage of my standard flat rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After you contact me, I will send you a link to set-up an initial consultation to listen and learn more about the specific details of your tax situation. Upon reaching a verbal agreement, I will send you a letter documenting the scope of the services. Since I work on a virtual basis, I will then send you a secure link as a way for me to access your tax documents without comprising any personal or confidential information. Based on the documents you submit, I will prepare your tax return. The most exciting part for me though is interacting with you to clarify any questions I may have. Finally, I send the returns to you for review and signature. I complete the process by e-filing your returns and giving you a copy for your records.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the from the George Washington University with a Masters in Accountancy. At that time, I was a part-time student and full-time employee with a family simultaneously studying for the rigorous CPA exams. I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the District of Columbia.
