FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All my new clients start with a complementary 15-minute phone consultation where we will also book the first session. In the first session, we will start by completing a detailed assessment of your coaching and counseling needs and setting realistic expectations of the time needed to achieve the desired results. We will work together to identify concrete coaching goals and a specific plan to achieve those goals.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was an undergraduate, I took an internship in a counseling center and fell in love with the job after being able to help my clients problem solve and improve their lives. It was amazing to see people come into the counseling center hurting and in need and see them progress to positive results through a series of sessions. People really do improve with counseling and I wanted to be a part of this. What I enjoy most about working with my clients is that it is one of the few jobs where you get the opportunity to grow as a person and learn while you help your clients to grow and learn. As a counselor and life coach, I developed a unique method that employs Brief Strategic techniques with a make-sense, solution-focused approach. In the fast-paced world we live in, time is a rare commodity. My job is to help you identify the causes of your life dissatisfaction so that you may achieve happiness without spending endless hours in costly therapy sessions. It is my belief that you are more likely to achieve and maintain positive changes in your life when you are able to see that your efforts are producing concrete, significant, and immediate improvements. Even though I am clinically trained and licensed as a marriage and family therapist, I believe that traditional therapy is limited in its ability to achieve satisfactory, tangible results. the idea for the 10-session approach was developed as an alternative to therapy.
