FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies according to the job/mission. I do NOT charge separate fees. Everything I charge for is incorporated into the overall price. Things I take into account are: distance, location/risk, time, time editing and turn-around time. I have always given the best fee for each factor!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first step is to have a conversation with my new customer. Listening to each of the customer's needs is critical in delivering a quality product. Beyond having a dialogue it is also very important for me to make a connection with you. Forging new relationships makes me a better businessman and, more importantly, a better person. After getting to know you, and getting to better understand the mission, I will do a preliminary visit to the jobsite to get a feel of the area. Understanding the area, noting the obstacles and researching the airspace will insure that I will complete a very successful and SAFE mission.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified and insured remote pilot. Aside from my FAA remote pilot certification I have logged over 40 hours of Pilot-in-Command of manned aircraft. Being well educated in the National Airspace System (NAS) makes me a proficient and a very safe pilot. I also hold other certifications such as: completion of proficient drone operation systems from Unmanned Vehicle University, completion of operation of commercial drone systems from Monarch, INC., certification of using multi-spectral camera sensors from TetraCam. I am one of the most proficient remote pilots in the state of California.
