- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project has many variables that can affect price including but not limited to material choice, intricacy of designs, amount of workers needed to complete the job, amount of time to complete job etc...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I receive a request for an estimate, I schedule a time that works best for both parties. I view the scope of the project and go over my recommendations and ideas for the project. I will then get an estimate within 2 days. If the homeowner accepts my bid we then schedule the time to start the work. I require a 50% deposit before any work, then an additional 25% when the job is half done and the remaining 25% at the completion of the job.
