My basic rate is $900 for six hours and that also includes full copyright ownership by you of all photos, digital copies of all images shot and 100 edited, digital, Photoshopped images. My three hour event rate is $450. With a six-hour booking, a discounted, one-hour engagement session is available for $150.
Also, if you notice, I have a Thumbtack Top Pro badge next to the reviews from past clients. Only 4% of photographers on Thumbtack are given that badge (for positive reviews and the number of jobs booked), so I'm pretty proud of it :-)
Below is a pretty extensive question/answer section which pretty much gives the details my clients typically ask. It's a bit lengthy, but I am very up front about what my clients get for their money, so taking a look should give you a good idea about whether I may be the right photographer for you.

----What are the details of the discounted engagement session?
For a limited time, I'm offering a discounted, one-hour engagement photo session at Tower Grove Park in St. Louis as part of the wedding package (if you need engagement photos). It will give you a chance to see my work and see how what I do as a photographer to reassure you that I'm the right guy to photograph your big day. I will show you the images as we go and will put the images on a storage disk for you to take with you immediately after our session. Within a few weeks, I will Photoshop about twenty of the images and send them to you on disks as well as well as copies of ALL the raw images I shot at our session.
Engagement sessions at other locations and for more time can be arranged, too.
----What do I (the client) get?
My basic rate for a six-hour wedding day is $900. I will shoot everything you want (folks getting ready, detail images of the cake and flowers, etc., the service, formal shots of family members and bride/groom, the reception/party and whatever else you would like to have photographed).
Additionally, YOU will own the photos and can do with them whatever you like and print them and email them to friends and family. This is a great value since most wedding photographers require that you order images FROM THEM or require that you BUY the ownership rights FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER for a high, additional cost. I provide this at no additional cost to you! Additionally, I will select and process (correct color, crop, sharpen, etc. with Photoshop) one hundred and send those digital images (and another complete set of your discs with ALL raw images) to you on discs (and a flash drive) after I've been able to put them together and tweak them to make them look extra special.
This $900 price is based on the premise that the event is in the St. Louis area (within about an hour from downtown STL).
--Do I (the client) need to sign a contract or make a deposit?
Yes non-refundable deposit is due to secure your date. The deposit amount is determined by the size of the job. The remainder of the payment is to be made in full at the end of the event day.
----Do you provide prints? What if I want prints or a wedding book/album of the photos?
I do not provide prints or albums for my clients to provide a better value to my clients. I recommend my folks get their prints and books/albums through the website mpix.com or shutterfly.com. It's a great, easy to use site which allows customers to upload their photos at a great price without buying anything else from me.
