FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pet/house sitting: $40-50/day. Dog boarding with training: $200/week or $40/day. Dog walking/exercise: $15/half hour. Dog training: $30-40/hour session. Horse training: varies by case.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For house and pet sitting, I like to meet with my customer at their home before the scheduled service so they can introduce me to their pet's usual routines and the pet can become familiar with me in a safe setting. There I can discuss everything that needs to be taken care of while the customer is away. For dog exercise or any training, a meeting session without training is not necessary but can be arranged by customer request.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Currently I have worked with up to three dogs and two cats at a time, and I am open to working with any combination of animals and needs my customers may have. I have also taught as many as eleven horseback riders at once in a group lesson, and I am very practiced in private lessons with both the rider on their horse or just me and the horse. Let me know what you need and I can work with you!
