FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Once we agree to a time and place, I will accept a non-refundable holding fee, which can be paid via email or in person. The remainder of the cost will be paid at the time of the session. Clients are paying for photographing and processing time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Process for working with a new customer: 1. A phone call to determine what they want and to get a feel for their needs. Determine if it is a studio shoot or location shoot. What the photograph(s) are for, such as a digital or frame/metal print. The emotional tone you want to convey. Any examples that the client wants to provide. Etc. 2. Determine if we are a good match. 3. Set-up a mutual appointment, with a non-returnable retainer fee. 4. Meet on site, I will shoot the shots that I think the client wants and then shoot the shoots that I think will work. 5. Process the shoots (usually takes about 1 hr, depending on the number of shots taken). 6. Upload shots to the website, and send an email out to the client that the photo gallery is ready and set-up an appointment for review and selection. 7. Photos are mailed or hand-delivered to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended the local college in order to improve my craft.
