Introduction: I specialize primarily in wedding and event photography, shooting about 35 weddings a year. About 3 years ago though, I got a phone call that changed my life forever. It was a social worker, she asked if I would be willing to photograph a little 6 year old boy named Isaac who was in hospice care. I agreed thinking I would spend about 60 minutes there, over 5 hours lapsed and I had fallen in love with his family; they had such an impact on me. Isaac passed away less than 24 hours after our shoot. I started a 501c nonprofit in his honor called, "The Isaac Initiative." The families we serve never receive a bill and we provide them with a custom printed photo book. It has truly changed the way I photograph weddings and portraits.
