- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide discounted prices to our U.S. Veteran and First Responder Thumbtack customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with a thorough inspection of your property and structures to correctly identify the pests. Through an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach, I then consider strategies and make recommendations to both eradicate and prevent further problems by using the chemical or natural solutions that are most effective against the pest and the also while always being safe for your family, gardens, and pets. Throughout it all, I am careful to fully explain your options so that you can make the best decision based on your specific situation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 6 years of experience as a commercial Pesticide Professional, and over 40 years of wildlife trapping experience. I am certified by the National Wildlife Control Operators Association as a wildlife control operator, and have successfully completed the National Wildlife Control Professional Training Program as well as the Illinois State Trapper Education training Program. In addition, I was employed as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for over 25 years, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Natural Science, as well as a Master's degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and safety. At Cardinal, safety is #1 and - I know that many insects and pests can expose you and your family to many dangers and diseases. That's why I take my business so seriously, and it's why I pride myself on professionalism and NOT cutting corners when it comes to combatting animal and insect infestations. It's nice to be able to help people. I have the training, the certifications, the expertise, and the equipment to handle the toughest infestation problems.
