Despite our efforts to find a new home that was, "move in ready" the competitive home market and limited number of properties, lead us to consider buying a fixer upper and then hiring a contractor to make it "move in ready." I am an extremely anxious person and buying a new home is a very stressful situation on its own. Finding a contractor on top of everything else, was something that we had a lot of concerns about. From the start, Trinity Contracting (Tad), was very accommodating and provided us with a free estimate. During our first meeting it was apparent that he understood what we were trying to do and already had made some great recommendations. Once we decided to work with Trinity, things moved quickly and demo seemed to fly by. The scope of work was pretty large with 2 full bathroom demos, 1 main wall demo, 2 half wall demos, and complete demo of all the flooring except the bedrooms. Tad provided an aggressive timeline of 6-8 weeks for project completion and many others told me to expect double the time a contractor states. Not the case with Tad, work was almost completely done by week 8 with the exception of some minor finishing touches and we were able to move into the home on schedule. Tad was very involved during the process and took us shopping to pick out tile, wood flooring, bathroom fixture, etc. He was able to help us tremendously with pricing and also did a great job of mediating between my wife and I when we were split on a decision. Tad was also helpful about keeping our budget in mind and made sure that we did not go over on anything unless we wanted to. If there was a decision to be made which would cost more, Tad was there to discuss what things could wait and which would make more sense to do now. Tad and his wife, Shell, were very flexible at every step in the process and went out of their way to make things as easy as possible when we needed to meet. The project come out beautifully and Tad really stepped up in the end to make sure we had everything that was agreed upon despite a error made by a supplier. This really made me confident in Trinity, Tad, and his wife Shell as business and I look forward to working with them if we are lucky enough to finish our kitchen and/or basement in the future. I have already referred a couple of others to Trinity who were looking for contractors and would continue to do so if asked for a reference.

There was a ton of work to be done for a hail damage insurance claim that affected 30+ homes. All new roofs, with a lot of siding, gutter, fascia repairs. Even garage door and garage door trim repairs were needed. Everything looks great and there were even things that were exposed as not being related to hail damage that they either repaired at no additional charge, or worked with the home owners and association to get those issues fixed instead of just covering them up again. Residents in the subdivision have even hired them for additional remodels and additions based on the work they did on the hail claim. We have also hired them to repair the pool house, which also had hail damage. Much better than working with one of the big name roofing companies

Tad was prompt at helping me get the job done. He did with a smile on his face and was very responsive at answering my questions. I don't live local and working long-distance with Tad and his company was a BREEZE. Plus, can't beat the price! I'll use Core Design and Build again in the future for sure!

Tad made several suggestions for our complete kitchen remodel that hadn't occurred to us, several that actually saved money. His attention to detail is unsurpassed by any other contractor with whom I've worked, finishing touches are amazing!. Very good sub-contracting team as well. Would recommend without hesitation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on project the project selected. We offer contractors discounted pricing on all of our materials. That means you pay anywhere from 10% to 50% less for the materials that you select for your project. So on an average kitchen remodel that has $20,000 worth of installed materials, you would pay, on average, about $14,000 for those materials. We do not make money from the materials and pass on our savings to you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically have an initial consultation over the phone. This allows both of us to figure out if we might be a good fit for one another!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have years of experience in all facets of construction. We have specialists in all fields and have different experts for different trades, all licensed insured and bonded. The best training we have is our history. We know we have to make people happy. We also make sure that we document and cover ALL aspects of your project before, during and after the process.
