FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is usually $100 per hour. But, the size and scope of a project, project pricing (hourly, or project rate), determine the actually costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, a phone call to determine the scope and budget of a project. During this call we get to know one another and learn more about the project. This call determines next steps, either a home visit, or a customer questionnaire (prior to a home visit). During the home visit, we take pictures and measurements, determine accuracy of home conditions, meet all parties concerned, and get a feel for the overall scope and timeline. A proposal is then sent. A deposit received. And work commences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certificate in graphic design. A minor in art history, and bachelor's degree in interior design. I've worked on projects as small as a bathroom, and to homes over 10,000 sf.
