Stephan was so wonderful to work with! He's extremely talented and has an artistic eye. He was very laid back and it was easy to get comfortable around him because he's very easy to talk to. He took a TON of amazing photos for me and gave me all the photos he took and didn't charge extra for any touch ups or any additional shots. I got some really nice and professional headshots and will totally love to work with Stephan again in the future! I highly recommend him.

Working with Stephan was wonderful! He has such an eye for detail, is super creative, and is very accommodating with your ideas as well. Every picture we took looked awesome and I wouldn't trust anyone else to take my pictures for me! He is phenomenal at what he does. Will definitely recommend to my friends and continue to hire for other events.

Stephan was very hardworking and professional before, through and after our photo-shoot session. He was on time and gave us a lot of good suggestions for how to pose. His communication skills are great and he understood our wants and needs very well. We were in a rush to get the pictures and he accommodated us by working to reduce the turn-around time on the photographs. The photographs came out very well and have since been used for professional brochures for my husband.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Typical portrait sessions are $375 for 1-2 people & $425 for family photos. Each are about 1-2 hours long. Number of images always varies but is usually around 30 images or so. Every commercial or event project requires a budget relative to the scope & scale of production. If you want Nike results, you need to invest what Nike invests. My typical rate alone is $150/hr, $400 for 4 hours, & $800 for 8 hours. Every shoot includes a 50% deposit unless otherwise stated. The deposit secures your date/time of session. Without it, your spot is still up for grabs.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Studied Entertainment Business at Full Sail University. Former Studio Associate at Picture People, Salem, OR. Previously studied and assisted for Erin Galey at InTheFlicker via The Recording and Radio Film Connection: Director/Producer Education Program. Established Stephan Partipilo Photography in 2015.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Some basic things to consider are: - What is the occasion or purpose of the photos, what will you do with them? Will they go online? Where would they likely be displayed? - How many photos do I actually need versus want? - How many people will be in the photos? - How many outfits do I want to wear or showcase? (less is more) - What is my availability in terms of scheduling? And when do I need the photos by? - What is my budget? (Most of the time: you get what you pay for)
