Introduction: "I use my camera to capture the moment in its most primal form. I want to embrace the memory of my life and the life happening around me. Some people capture their experiences through journaling, I use photography. It is the way I tell my story. I look at photography as an exchange of information from artist to subject, a conversation per sey... a dance. Being able to get swept up in that moment and also sharing that experience, that connection with a subject is unforgettable. It is a very intimate relationship.
My style is my own. In order to capture the raw vulnerable state of any subject I use only natural light. You can artificially illuminate anything and in many cases that creates beautiful results but I feel that by using only natural light I am able to show my subject in it's truest most vulnerable form."

Danielle has been my family's personal photographer for four years. We use Zaugg Studios for family portraits, our children's school pictures, special events, weddings and the occasional 'just for fun' photo shoot. I have never been disappointed with the quality. The turn around of my photos has been excellent. The pictures Danielle has taken of my family over the years grace my walls, photo albums, Christmas cards and work cubicles. Her pricing is fair and the quality outstanding. I recommend Zaugg Studios to anyone who truly wants to capture life's moments. I will continue to use Zaugg Studios and continue to recommend the experience of having a life captured, perfectly, in a photo, by Danielle.

I hired Danielle for a photoshoot at Full Fidelity Music Studios in celebration of completing an album. She made us feel completely at ease and comfortable with her direction during the shoot. Once my producer and I saw the pictures, we were not expecting what we saw. The warmth she added to her work was outstanding. In others words, we looked damn good in the studio! My producer will be using her as his "go-to" photographer for his other artists and I will hire her as my family photographer as well. Truly awesome work!

Danielle did my maternity pictures, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience and the photos! She is so kind and fun to work with and took so many different pictures for us. She took time to know exactly what we wanted, and did an amazing job on our photos!
