What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with people one-on-one or at least talk over the phone. I want to know what makes you unique and talk about how we can highlight your best attributes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in architecture and photography. I love the theory and practice of design, but what really get's me excited is making art with people. My design training gives me a different perspective on people and the space the are in. The photography training and experience I have help me tell a beautiful story of the people and the place. My experience gives me ability to tell an illustrated story full of meaning and memories.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always I'd a passion for capturing the world around me. As a young kid I constantly had a video or film camera. I made movies and took photos every where I went.
When I started college I took film classes whenever I could.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with everyone from about to get married couples to multi-million dollar institutions, such as Sundance and Deer Valley to name a few.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for professionals with good gear who know how to make you look your best. I have the the tools I need to make art. Also, look for pro's who can give you creative ideas about what will work and what won't for your event or photo shoot.
