- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices depend on multiple factors, such as flavors, fillings, frostings, servings, complexity of designs, and materials used. Servings start at $2.00.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For birthday cakes, you may call or email me to place the order if the servings are 50 or less. For more than 50 servings, a consult will be scheduled and a deposit of half the total cost is required. For wedding cakes, a consult will need to be scheduled in order to determine flavors and design. I offer a complimentary tasting with up to 3 flavors for up to 3 persons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been baking and decorating cakes for 7 1/2 years. It started as a hobby, but quickly turned into a passion. I spent some time working at a commercial bakery, but found there were too many limitations on what I could do. I take pride in my work; not only how my cakes look, but how they taste. Every cake or dessert is custom, from scratch, and fit to the desires of my customers.
