The team was very nice, and kept in contact fairly well, but did not meet expectations. Our wedding was planned in under 3 months, so I did not have time to do a ton of deliberating and knew I needed help, especially on the day-of. I was under the impression they would help execute on the variety of actions up to and on the day, but it ended up what felt like me paying someone to re-delegate the work. There was a rather large miscommunication the day of that ended up being resolved (but could have easily been avoided). the night of was helpful with moving the schedule of the night along - but I feel as if I should have only paid for those hours. Other feedback from guests the night of and other people helping was also more negative than positive, including tearing down decorations during the reception and more telling than helping during set up. I honestly was more sad/disappointed because I felt a little tricked/taken advantage of. Everyone seemed really nice and willing/helpful up front, but ended up not matching original expectations, and friends ended up physically executing/helping than those I paid.
Maybe with more time out for planning it we could have made expectations more clear. Very nice team, and the reception was almost completely on schedule. They would do well as wedding consulting help.

Hey Jenna. Wish we could have talked before you posted a review, but that's ok. Some of the items you talked about was not my staff. The decorations were not taken down by us. You can ask the caterers if you need to verify. We walked up to them to ask who took them off the wall, I just moved them inside out of the way. I didn't move any decorations especially since everyone was starting to fight over the flowers and a few people were rude to us about them. We offered to help Sarah the whole time we were there are she said she had it covered. I understand that dance floor was a huge problem but if I had known she didn't have one, I would have made sure we had one set up. I did get on the phone immediately and called around as many rentals companies as I could to get it fixed ASAP. I tried really hard to help where I could with Sandy and making sure it was all together. I'm so hurt the you were not happy. We really tried our best to complete the tasks to get the reception ready. We finished setting up all the receptions tables with the flowers and lit all the candles and cleaned all the tables off from the leaves and items that had fallen onto them, set up drink stations with tea, water and lemonade, ran 2 times to get ice, picked up flowers, set up the entire bar and all the beer. We finished decorating the cake and sign in tables with linens or decor, set up camera for guest book. Again I'm sorry you were not happy. When everyone left for the wedding, the only thing done was the tables with linens and the bottles in top. We put all the other areas together. Hope we can talk, I really don't want you to feel taken advantage of. At the end of the night, I could tell some of the bridal party was upset about having to clean-up and tear down that night. I was just following what Sandy told me had to be done. And caterers told me they were not paid to clean-up so we actually did some of that as well. I've never had a bad review, it's done but I'd still like to talk to you. Sorry again.

We hired Embellished Events for the rehearsal and day of planning for our wedding, including design and decorating. They did an excellent job. The rehearsal went great. Having never done that before, it was easy with Norma giving directions and letting the whole party know what needed to be done. On the wedding day, they did an amazing job of decorating the reception area and coordinating with all the vendors the make sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend Norma and her team to help with anything. One of the best surprises that they gave us was as we were leaving after our vows they had all the guests with little sticks and strings to wave as we walked down the aisle together for the first time as husband and wife. They did an amazing job.
