- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a builder at heart since I was a child. For as long as I can remember I've enjoyed creating and building things with my hands. I became an Iron Worker by trade over 15 years ago but in my spare time would take on other projects that allowed me to develop my skills for fencing, decks and other small projects. Over the past few years, my weekend projects consumed more of my time, until I decided to go into business for myself and focus on fencing & decks full time. I'm blessed to do the type of work that I enjoy and I believe makes others happy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of customers, from those who know exactly what they want to those who need help deciding on what to do. I understand that people are different - so I go into each job expecting it to be different than the one before. I intentionally make room for people to ask questions or change their mind or ask for advice. The customers are what make my job meaningful.
