❇️ First of all, I've been a professional builder for over 35 years and my reviews and pictures will show my experience, but only what I'm about to say can show you who "I AM" as a person and as a businessman.❇️
1. Be honest: I taught my kids this from the moment I can remember. In business, I display this as letting the customer know when a price is cheaper, or when I finished earlier than expected.
2. Make Amends: If they did something wrong my kids knew they would have to make it right. I apply this in my business by giving a fair warranty that favors my customers other than myself or the manufacturer.
3. Determination: Taunya wanted to quit kickball because she felt she was too small, I told her that determination alone is all she had, we trained every day in the backyard for 1 year; later she won her first 1st place medal. I apply this in business by never giving up on a project. You'd be shocked how many calls I get regarding the handyman walking out.
4. Consideration: I really tried to teach my kids about thinking about others and their feelings. I apply this to my business by paying attention to the little things, like covering carpet with plastic, taping off areas so no dust can leave the area etc. Keeping things clean so after I leave you would never know I was there.
