I needed to replace a failed Cat 5 cable and requested that he to install a Cat 8 cable instead. I was "future-proofing" my cable run. It took him three trips to get it working, and I was very impressed with his perseverance. This was his first residential Cat 8 cable run, and he had to work out a few bugs, but he stuck with it and succeeded in the end. Despite needing additional cable and different terminations, the price I was charged never changed. He is honest and committed to completing a job successfully. Hired Myers Custom Finishers to touch-up drywall and paint a bathroom, and touch-up drywall and paint our kitchen. Sandy did all of the work herself in two days and we are very pleased with the job she did for us. She is very talented, as demonstrated by her having to cut away a section of patterned ceiling in our kitchen, replace the piece of ceiling drywall - which of course is flat - but she had to slurry the pattern so it blended seamlessly back into the rest of the ceiling. I hired Irons Painting to finish some drywall in my family room where we had sealed up a doorway. Pricing was fair, and they were able to start work the day of my request. Drywall finishing requires dry time in between applications and sanding and Kelly was able to communicate their schedule with us and finish the job within a few days. Pictures are below, but they did a nice job, especially in patching up the area where the old lath and plaster was exposed around the old door frame. I plan on hiring Irons again for other jobs at my rental proprieties.

Viktor is professional, respectful and highly skilled. We removed a bathroom mirror in order to install a medicine cabinet. It revealed old paint, wallpaper and damaged drywall. He raised the lighting fixture, repaired the drywall, coming back three times to make sure it was in great condition before he sanded, painted and installed the cabinet. It looks great! Our dog tore a hole in the drywall and ripped off the trim, Ryan gave us an estimate which was way less than I was expecting. He came the next day and immediately got to work, he was good with my kids talking and sitting next to him, he worked fast and efficiently and his work was amazing. I hired Speedy Drywall Patch to do a small bathroom patch (around a new medicine cabinet), reseal some ripped drywall, and a few touch-ups. Christian was prompt and professional in giving a quote. It was higher than expected ($2K not including tax) but they had great reviews and could start quickly. It says in the contract, it will be “prime and paint ready”. When the drywaller showed up, the first thing he said was “I need a cigarette,” which didn’t inspire much confidence, haha. He worked for about three hours, then asked me to look at it so he could “get out of my hair.” I said “looks good,” assuming it was the first rough coat. But later, Christian told me they considered the job done and sent the invoice. I refused to pay until he came to look. To his credit, Christian came back, agreed it wasn’t finished, and said he’d talk to the worker. He mentioned he puts a lot of training in them but “they don’t do as good of a job as I would do”. Christian came back that evening and spent 90 minutes adding more mud. It looked better, and I assumed another visit would follow to sand, skim, and properly finish. He did return the next day, but only stayed an hour and said it was complete. At that point, I didn’t see a path forward. If this was the third attempt and it still looked bad and not ready for prime and paint, I didn’t want to drag it out any longer. I paid just to move on. I later had three drywall pros come out to quote fixing it. All assumed I had done the work myself. I ended up hiring one for a fraction of the price, and the results aren’t even comparable. I followed up with Christian a couple days later to share my concerns, but was left on read. He was speedy up until that point. Maybe I caught them at a bad time, but based on my experience, I would steer clear.

If, there was a option to give no stars that is exactly what they would receive. They came to our home and torn out the living room ceiling and a portion of the kitchen ceiling so, it can be replaced with new drywall. They made some trips to the home improvement store to get materials they need. But then when it was quiting time they asked for $2000 and said they weren’t coming back tomorrow to finish the job they started. We told them that was not our agreement. They insisted that was the agreement. I never give my hard earned money to a company before the job is complete. Oh, so I was upstairs finishing working my job and came downstairs and they left dirt everywhere. They left the dirty paper on the floor that they had used while they were tearing the ceilings down. They also left the dirty clothes they put over the appliances in the kitchen. But they didn’t put a cover over the buffet in the dining room and all kinds of black dirt was on it. They left my home in filth!
