What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For each client I begin with a Free 30min Coaching Consultation or as I also like to call it a Discovery Session. During this session we will go over your goals, challenges, and expectations for coaching. Once your sessions is complete you will be asked to take the 6 Human Needs Questionnaire to help us discover your daily motivations and behaviors. The results will be used if you choose to move forward. You are never under any obligation to continue coaching past your free session and you will never feel pressured to work with me. I believe the desire to begin coaching must come from our own willingness to changes our lives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in my early 30's I was the owner of a successful Real Estate group I had founded and during that time I was also coaching new Realtors on building their businesses. I truly loved coaching these Realtors and helping them find solutions to challenges in their businesses. It didn't stop at their businesses though; they began asking for assistance on work-life balance and even with their relationships with their spouses. I had a real breakthrough about becoming a Life Coaching and realized this is what I was always meant to do. So I sold my business and pursued out a life coaching certification to better my skills and to learn new strategies.
I had been following Tony Robbins for years and knew that if I was going to be a Coach then I wanted to learn what he does. So I went to seek out his coaching strategies and signed up with the Robbins-Madanes Center for Strategic Intervention in 2013. Since then I have been living a fulfilling life with a strong purpose behind it and all I want is share my experiences, knowledge and wisdom with my clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of clients from young adults (18-24) who may be searching for their life's passion or purpose, those who are about to enter college or in college or about to leave college and entering into the workforce. I have also worked with many young adults & couples (24-35) who come to me with a wide variety of goals and challenges from changing jobs, married struggles, trust issues, eliminating bad habits, developing communication skills, becoming independent, work-life balance, creating boundaries, eliminating negative beliefs, regaining motivation and many more.
I have also worked with parents and families of young adults who want to better communication skills, resolve conflicts and create proper boundaries to name a few. I am not in the business of turning away clients though those I work with must be highly motivated to make changes and reach their goal. Change can't happen without there being a willingness to change first.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Please know I do not share my client stories without their express approval. That said here is a story about a couple that hired me for Relationship Counseling. Recently I was working with a couple that was unable to find common ground regarding a personal situation which had been occurring for the last 4 years. This couple was ready to call it quits after 6 years of marriage. After working with this couple for 6 weeks they moved back in with each other and have developed ways of being more present in the relationship and have realized the love they once shared has always been there keeping them together and just need to be unearthed once again. This is my most recent fond moment because coming from a divorced household myself I look at it as victory when I can help a couple stay together for the right reasons.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking to hire a Life, Relationship or Career Coach make sure this person above all else truly cares about their clients. You can know this immediately by how they respond to your situation during a consultation. The reason this is so important is you want to make sure you work with someone who is invested in your success. No one will ever be more invested in you than you, of course, but you should work with someone that honestly wants you to be the best you can be and you can usually feel this immediately, so don't settle. Secondly, I would say as a client you want to work with someone you feel completely comfortable being honest with. Coaching is a deeply personal process and a lot will and must be shared and if you fear sharing certain information then the effectiveness of that coaching will be diminished.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before hiring a Life, Relationship or Career Coach you will want to ask yourself the following questions:
1. How motivated am I really to reach my goal?
2. Am I Coachable; Am I willing to let go and be open to new ways of looking at my situation?
3. Are my expectations in line with what a coach can do for me?
4. Am I willing to stay committed to my coaching?
5. Am I willing to be held accountable for my actions?
6. Am I willing to spend money on personal development and what would be the benefits?
7. Am I ready to let go, change, improve or eliminate my most pressing challenges?
Here are some questions you should be asking about your coach after your consultation:
1. Does my coach understand me and my situation; do they seem to care?
2. Does my coach provide honest feedback or do they beat around the bush?
3. Do I feel comfortable speaking open and honestly to my coach?
4. Are my coaches values the same as my values?
5. Is my coach as invested in me as I am in myself?
6. Does my coach provide me with new ways to look at old problems?
7. Is my coach pushy and impatient with getting me results?
