What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing. My fee is determined based on what information I obtain in talking or emailing with my perspective client.
As a notary, the State of California allows a maximum fee of $15 per notarized signature. I do charge a fee for my travel. Please text, call or email me for a quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process involves coordinating a meeting place and time that best suits my clients schedule.
As a tax preparer, I like to establish a relationship with my cleint so that I can understand their situation. While meeting with the client, there are just a couple of forms to complete.
Similarly, as a notary, I like to accomodate my client's by meeting them at a place and time that works with their schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With regards to tax preparation, I complete the Federal & State required continuing education each year.
As a notary, I complete the required continuing education. Notary commission's are valid for a 4 year term.
I also keep current on all of the latest news and laws and how it may impact my clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
As a tax preparer, I completed filed returns for individuals that were filing as single, married/joint returns and head of household.
I've completed returns for people with military income including active duty, recently separated and retired individuals. I've also completed the out of state filing for my active duty client's whose Home of Record is in another state.
I've also completed returns for individuals with capital gains (both long term and short term), dividends & interest, individuals eligible for various credits (earned income, child tax, child care fees, student loan interest, tuition and fees paid to name a few), rental income and small businesses.
As a notary, I've been hired by individuals, local businesses, banks, title companies (both directly and through companies their hire) for real estate transactions.
I've been hired to complete the purchase/sale of a property and the refinancing of a property (some with a home equity lines of credit).
In some cases, someone refinancing their property may have to hire their own notary. I have and will assist them with the entire loan package. I will also take the completed documents to the courier service on their behalf at no additional charge. It is all included in the fee I charge.
