- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a wide array of payroll options for your business. For 1-3 employees, we offer a once a month payroll option at $50.00 per month. For 4-6 employees, we offer a once a month payroll solution at $55.00 per month. Once a month payroll solutions will rise $5.00 a month for every 3 employees you add. If you need your payroll ran bi-monthly, no problem! Our payroll solution for bi-monthly payroll with 1-3 employees starts at $65.00 per month and will rise $5.00 a month for every 3 employees you add. If you have any other payroll requests we can certainly work with any of your needs and quote you a price from there. We are very cost effective compared to other payroll providers! We can also help you with any other business needs you might have!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff has accounting degrees from prestigious universities as well as a CPA. Our staff has worked in payroll processing, tax preparation, finance, accounting, business consulting and much more for over 40 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our office opened 23 years ago. Our Founder, Steve Peterson, graduated from the University of San Diego with an Accounting degree and received his CPA shortly thereafter. A few short years after working for an accounting firm, Steve started his own business and has been in operation every since. Steve is a big adventure nut! He will share a story if you ask! James Thomas has been with Steve Peterson CPA for over 15 years after completing his accounting degree at Chapman University. James is our payroll manager and can answer any question you might have regarding our payroll processing solution. Zach Wolfe is the newest and youngest member to the Steve Peterson family. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara he spent time working in the golf industry at Cobra Puma Golf. From there, he helped manage a business consulting firm that specialized in education where he handled budgets, cash flows, and payroll. We have a tight knit staff who work well together and love what they do!
