Linh worked with me on grief counseling. I was still struggling some five years after the death of my son David. Although I was working and going through the motions of enjoying my life with my family, I was unintentionally consumed by anger. Through my therapy with Linh I was able to work through the issues that had dogged me throughout my life which culminated in the anger issues the stopped me from enjoying life as I should have. She is a very adept a able therapist who helped to turn my life around. I am now enjoying my life so much more. ThankYou Linh you made such a difference in my lifeAug 29, 2017

miss tran is a contemporary, youthful, energetic therapist. the greatest i've ever had. instead of an old, boring therapist, she stays engaged and is very young and youthful. it provides a fresh perspective compared to old school therapists who simply ask how you feel. i highly reccomend miss tran to anyone seeking counseling to any kind of problem out there ! she is amazing and i owe her a lot. she's helped me dig through a lot of my psyche.Aug 29, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't accept insurance. However, most therapist don't either. On average, therapy can cost up to $150. I charge $75 for the initial assessment (which is 90 mins long) and $50 for regular single session (50 mins long). We can discuss discounts for a bundle of sessions if interested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I strongly advocate for long term therapy, which typically is 4-12 months. I believe everyone is unique and complex. Therefore it takes time to peel back the layers and not just fix what's on the surface, but rather address the core issues. I typically use the first 3-4 sessions gathering information and getting to know my clients and from there, I am able to identify some core issues. After identifying core issues with the client, I work with the client on developing a plan on how to address them. It is a working relationship and while I am there to assist in the process, the real work is done by the client so that they are able to one day leave therapy and function independently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a M.A. In Mental Health Clinical Counseling. I have served individuals as young as 7 and as old as 75. I've worked in residential treatment facilities, psychiatric hospitals, family homes, and I have a private practice. I have dedicated over a decade of my career to mental health and serving those in need.
