Introduction: In a world of so many photographers, this question is a tough one. I have to admit I am definitely a people person. I love to communicate, interact, and connect with people and same goes with my clients. I LOVE to get to know my clients, understand who they are and what their goal is for me to capture. I want to capture the realness and rawness of beauty, grace, strength and love whether it is two people madly in love to a mother looking into her newborns eyes with so much joy and happiness. Those are the moments I want to capture. I want to portray those emotions in all the work that I do, so if you look through my portfolio and those emotions come out, then I have done my job.
I didn't think I would be able to do this as a career, but I have to tell you that my favorite part about this work is the people. Getting to know my clients more than just clients, but as people has been so rewarding. Some have actually become lifelong friends and I love that! Community is huge for me and I love that with this job I get to meet so many new people. I get to invest in their lives and just being able to be a part of something bigger excites me! I love that the clients entrust me enough to capture important days, seasons, and journeys of their lives that they get to carry on forever with the memories to look back on. I am extremely thankful that I was a part of something important or significant in their lives.

Mary-Rose took some amazing senior portraits for me. She was extremely kind and patient during the whole process. I am extremely happy with how the pictures came out. I am definitely going to call her again if I need more pictures taken.

Maryrose is so accommodating and so sweet. She made me feel so comfortable and captured the true me in the photos she took. She was patient, easy going, and I never felt rushed. She knows exactly what she's doing and makes it feel like a fun conversation the whole time. On top of being so great, she got the photos to me in a timely matter. I love the photos she took of me!

I have done a couples shoot and an individual shoot with Maryrose and she knew what poses looked good and flattering. She is very relational and makes all her customers feel comfortable in front of a camera. I also received my edited photos pretty quickly.
I will definitely come back to her!

Maryrose made me feel so at ease! She is sweet and funny and knows how to make you feel comfortable enough to capture you being yourself. She has a great eye for beautiful pictures! She knows what vision you have and runs with it. Also, as a woman she has your back and knows what is flattering and helps you out to position your hair etc! I think that is one of her biggest strengths as a photographer! She knows what you want and she delivers that. I can't express enough how much I love the pictures she took! My husband and I look forward to many more photo shoots with her!
