Erika helped me with my Thai catering/pop-up business logo in Santa Cruz, CA. It was playful and vibrant as I wanted it. She was always prompt and responsive, very professional and easy to talk to. We worked on four drafts of the logo. I look forward to working with her in the future!Mar 17, 2017Verified
Erika has done the logos for a few of my iOS Apps (I'm an indie developer), and I'm always blown away by how professional her work is. Think of all the work that goes into an app icon: distilling the app experience down into a single visual, picking colors, iterating through multiple ideas, and then polishing the finished product. She's worked with me each time to make icons for my apps that are both beautiful and great representations of the product.Oct 20, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Generally I estimate the amount of time I think the scope of the project will take - including revisions, and then times that by my hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Before I do any designs, it's important to me to know what the project is about, find out if the client has any design preferences, and get to know more about their design aesthetic by asking for examples of designs they like and why. It's a great way to create a language of design between the two of us, and it helps the client feel we are on the same page.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts where I studied Illustration and Graphic Design. I have 18+ years experience working as graphic designer.
