FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge a rate of $120 per hour, when working with my clients on-site.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step is to understand your product and the problem that it is going to solve for your user. Typically I asses the status quo of the product itself and gather insights about your customer base. This can include a heuristic evaluation, the facilitation of existing research, data analysis, competitive analysis or in some cases conducting research myself. Having all evidences gather that inform a design decision I continue to architect a interaction model, in close cooperation with engineering teams, that should be validated trough formal and informal usability studies, before starting the implementation. Ultimately I provide specifications implementation support for engineers to ensure product excellence. Typically the process of designing and developing a great product is iterative. So all these steps start over and are executed in sprints. I help to prioritize requirements, identify gaps and create UX roadmaps, that are a great addition to product roadmaps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an educational background in communication design, human factor engineering as well as qualitative and quantitative research methods and statistic.
