Rachael was very involved in the process and her attention to details helped make my wedding memorable to everyone in attendance.

About this pro

I specialize in working with couples to create a custom wedding ceremony; one that authentically reflects their partnership and union. I guide couples through the creation of a ceremony from start to finish; we cover everything from processional to recessional. We draw on traditional and contemporary ideas. I am an open minded person of faith. I follow the Christian tradition, yet believe there are many paths to the divine--and we're all on one. I am a great fit for religious, agnostic, secular, atheist, or mixed faith couples. Together we can co-create an authentic and sacred ceremony. I am going to work with you and your beliefs, not push my own upon you. This creative and spiritual endeavor combines my love of public speaking, strong writing skills, and my abiding faith in the divine and the conviction that we are sacred.

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

With this package, I provide: - 1 hour-long consultation - Officiating the Ceremony - Solemnizing the Marriage Officiant Coaching $150 Having a friend or loved one officiate your wedding is a great idea! In California, it's very easy to do. With this package, I can help you and your "officiant for the day" get legally prepared, help craft the ceremony, and provide some speech coaching. With this package, I provide: Orientation to an American-style wedding ceremony 2 half-hour consultations 1 rehearsal with the officiant Travel: I serve a 100-mile radius around San Francisco, California. For weddings outside of San Francisco proper, I typically charge$ 0.53 per mile, though that can be flexible. For weddings outside of the 100-mile radius, additional travel fees may apply.
    • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always begin with a free, no obligation consultation to learn more about a couple; their desires, the ceremony, and their love story. Then, if there is agreement to move forward into a contact, I will calendar our future consultations. At the first consultation, I'll prepare the foundational building blocks of the ceremony, by providing 2 - 3 options that I believe might fit the couple. Each subsequent consultation builds on this foundation and we build the ceremony.
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a student of Studio ACT in San Fransico; this acting training augments years of public speaking experience. In addition, I have been a person of faith my entire life. I have been a congregational leader and continue to be a student of the divine.
