- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do offer a sliding scale based on my limited availability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we would arrange a no charge intake/consultation on the phone to see if we are a good fit. From there, we will arrange our first session and begin to meet for weekly sessions. Occasionally, I will see clients bi-monthly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a MA in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. I specialized in Somatic Psychotherapy, which lends to a Body~Mind Approach to working. I'm trained in Laurel Parnell's Attachment-Focused EMDR Therapy - Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing - Basic Trainings (including Advanced). I have done extensive training in Sandplay Therapy, a non-verbal way of experiencing therapeutic work.
