Howard was wonderful! So easy to coordinate with, extremely pleasant and excellent work quality. He built my dresser and installed super high, difficult curtains with ease. I will recommend him to all my friends in SF.Mar 16, 2019Verified
Howard is a total professional and a personal delight. He not only helped us with our list of items to install, repair and assemble but also gave us great, useful advice on some other apartment-related needs. He was extremely punctual, courteous and easy to work with on scheduling and payments! Total A+ experience and I plan to recommend Howard to anyone and everyone!Sep 25, 2018Verified
We hired Howard to wall mount a bathroom cabinet as well as a few miscellaneous items around our home. He showed up on time and well-prepared with his own tools. He was polite and respectful and made sure to ask exactly where and how we wanted the items mounted. He made quick work of the tasks and was out in a jiffy. We would definitely hire him again for any sort of handyman type work! Thanks, Howard!Aug 30, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $60 an hour for handyman services, $80 an hour for electrical work, and $45 an hour for furniture assembly, with a one hour minimum. I will mount your TV for $99. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards. The price for custom woodworking is based on the cost of materials, time, and the complexity of your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I read my customer's job description and then ask enough questions to fill in the missing pieces. If I am confident that I can complete the job to my customer's satisfaction, I accept the assignment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Thirty years of experience as a homeowner doing all of my own home repairs and maintenance. Over twenty-five years of experience as a woodworker and furniture designer. I have a Master's degree in psychology and great people skills!
