- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard rate is $80 hour regardless of man power or trucks needed. With a minimum of 2 hours. Every move is surveyed, broken down and estimated for length of time before each job. That way the client is given a very accurate idea of what to expect. Absolutely no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as many details about a job pre-move as possible. Which type of truck will the move require? Just a pick up truck or one of our larger box trucks? What stage of preparedness the client is in makes a big difference time wise. For example, have they done the boxing of items for each room, or will they need assistance in doing so? Also the location and scouting of loading and unloading so logistically the move goes smoothly for all items, most notably any large or overweight items. Lastly, scheduling the time for the move. Many clients are forced to move after hours or weekends when they can get time away from work. Its important they know we are staffed for flexibility in order to meet their time constraints or deadlines.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Really what it comes down to in this industry is experience, and all told, our crews have decades of experience, therefore you would be hard pressed to present them with a situation they have not seen or at least heard about first hand.
