My former employer worked with a 3rd party company called RiseSmart. While I was in between jobs, RiseSmart assigned Stephanie Swanbeck to be my Career Coach. It was my first time working with a company like RiseSmart, so I had no idea what to expect. Words to describe Stephanie: friendly, professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, good listener, problem solver. She was very good at listening to me to understand my situation, what skills and experience I had, and how my skills and experience could be scripted to help me land my ideal role. We covered a multitude of topics, including resume writing, common interview questions, and negotiation tactics. Every time I had a question, she was able to come up with a well thought-out response to help me think about things from a different perspective. I really enjoyed working with Stephanie, and I would recommend her to all future clients. If I could, I would give her a 6 out of 5 stars!

I had an introductory half-hour session with Stephanie, in which we discussed where I am currently in my career, what I'm passionate about, and options for the future. I felt that she really listened not only to my words but my emotions as I spoke and this gave me additional insight into my goals. She provided advice and clarity, in terms of my direction. She was very personable and professional. Overall, I felt that she genuinely cared about helping me and that the session was successful. I would definitely contact her again for assistance with my career goals.
