- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a retainer fee of 25% and a delivery and set up fee that will vary depending on the distance and scope of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will usually ask the couple to send me a couple of their inspiration photos and I will pull some of my own based on the initial information. Then we have a phone call where we compare these photos and talk about what you want until everyone is satisfied that we are on the same page. This phone call will also include getting all relevant information such as what floral arrangements are needed and what size of bouquets, bridesmaid dress color and so on. The idea is that I understand your vision so that I can put together an exact proposal for you. After this phone call you decide if you want to work with me! If so I will request a retainer so I can reserve your date. The next thing I do is put together an inspiration board and also outline each arrangement/ bouquet with which flowers I plan to use. This shows me exactly what the cost will be. I like to have an in person meeting at this point so I can show this to you. We will go over the proposal , make changes as needed and get it to a point where you are completely happy and I know that you will love what I make. At this point I will give you the final cost. We will stay in touch on any points necessary but otherwise we are all set to go for your big day!
