Introduction: Hi , I'm Colleen and thank you for finding me! My studio is located on four acres so I can create images in a controlled setting and also in a natural back drop. I also travel to photograph at businesses, private homes, local beaches, and wineries . I am also a certified eco-friendly green business.
The best part of my work is having clients walk away from a photography session feeling like they have more than what they were seeking. It is always a rewarding moment when someone sees something affirmative or beautiful in themselves or in their loved ones that they had not seen recently or perhaps ever. Our relationships are our treasures, and a great photograph helps us understand that. Whether it is heirloom family photograph or valuable business presence on the internet , the process should be easy, friendly and fun! I look forward to hearing how I might be able to help!

Colleen is an artist so she understands every aspect of taking a picture. She will pay attention to details that no one sees. She has emotional intelligence and an incredibly loving and nurturing personality. Her photography will leave you breathless. I love her.

Colleen has been photographing my family photos and major life events for the past 20 years. That says it all right there. The moments she captures are near and dear to my heart with mostly candid shots, but even the staged shots she manages to get the best candids. Even my three year old boy looks forward to getting his picture taken with Colleen!

Colleen has photographed our family weddings, birthdays, new babies and anniversaries. She is considered Our Family Photographer. Colleen is inherently perceptive,so so fun to have her with us with an eye for the surrounding back drop the colors lighting and/or if we need adjustments to our clothing etc. she always makes us look fabulous. We tell everybody to go to Colleen Rosenthal Photography!

It was the first time we ever sat for keepsake portraits with a professional photographer. First off - thank goodness for Thumbtack. It made it easy to find someone in this area and select a photographer who had a portfolio of work that best matched our style. Colleen responded quickly, shared her website, corresponded by email to set up an appointment, was great to work with, and gave us extra time on the day of the shoot to find that right shot. An unexpected bonus was Colleen's beautiful property. The early winter (in California that means green!) backdrops made the day memorable and the photos so beautiful. We just received our electronic files with eight different portraits (we couldn't narrow the set down to 3!); she made us look great - but also ourselves. We are very happy with the experience and highly recommend Colleen Rosenthal Photography!
