- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I calculate price based on materials, size, estimated time to completion, and complexity of subject matter.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss the project with you first. I like to get a sense for which of my pieces you like already, and whether or not you have any aesthetic preferences in regards to color, composition, etc. We will discuss photos: you can send me some or I would be happy to photograph you (or whoever the subject is). We would discuss and agree upon expectations for timeline, cost, materials, framing, etc. and then I would get to work. Depending on the size of the project, I would update you periodically on progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA from Utah State, emphasis in drawing and painting, and I have participated in multiple post-graduate art shows. Besides all that, I paint! Nothing makes a painter quite like painting.
