As a former board member of the Los Angeles City Historical Society, I proposed Ann Sklar for Editor of the quarterly newsletter. Over the past couple of years she has not only enlisted excellent design and production assistance but has written many feature stories herself and has gotten other highly-qualified, credentialed authors to review books and write features. She has always brought the newsletter in on time. She has also done an amazing job of cataloguing historical photos that are on the LACHS website, for which she has written captions.
