What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything we make is customized to showcase your content, so pricing varies depending upon your audience. We start with ranges from $100 - $300 for adding motion to your name and/or logo, to $300 – $700 for customizing motion graphics from our extensive library, to $700 on Up for original motion graphic design. Creating an entire digital film from stock footage and our motion graphic library is a very cost effective way to go, with pricing starting at $1,000. The next step is a digital film of 2-3 minutes based on your script...featuring on-location filming, voice over narration, music and some graphic elements...in the range of $3,000 – $5,000...if care is taken in the creative development. For high impact, original digital films illustrating your business and products, the budget range is usually in the $7,000 – $35,000 range. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For live-action and visual effects, a face to face or phone meeting is a great place to start. For video editing or motion graphics, all can be handled by phone, email, text and posting storyboards, versions, rough cuts and final cuts on a posting service, like HighTail, DropBox or private YouTube.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from San Francisco State University in Film and Broadcast Audio, cum laude. Couldn't go to my graduation because I had a gig in Kansas City shooting a Jazz Festival.
