- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies,depending on the job. With cleaning I prefer to charge a flat rate. I do that largely because i tend to take my time with a job (I want it done right, not fast and if i change by hour I fear people would think I was just dragging my feet. With post construction I charge by the square foot, as is the standard in the industry. I do charge extra for window, depending on the size, but nothing outrageous. As far as my other services, I am always open to negotiation. I understand not a lot of people have cleaning built in to their budgets and I can work with that..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set an appointment and visit with the customer in their home. I think it's important to know who you're working for. During the initial meeting, the customer typically walks me through the home, which clarifies their cleaning needs. Next, we check our schedule and schedule our first cleaning. After the first cleaning, I follow up with a text message to be sure their home is precisely how they were expecting. If there are suggestions, I'm always open to communication and adjustment..
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My work is the same for every customer.... I start on one side of a room and clean from ceiling to floor. Most do not won't window cleaned, but I am accommodating. I am open to all suggestions.
