FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every wedding and portrait session is different. I start by speaking with the client and finding out exactly what their needs are. If possible, for wedding clients, I prefer an in person meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer for over 10 years. After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, I took masters level courses in design and motion graphics while implementing these skills in the freelance market. In 2007 I moved to Portland Oregon, while there I worked at a studio as well as a camera store while continuing to build my portfolio. These jobs allowed me to further my knowledge of lighting and equipment, as well as introducing me to some very talented and inspiring individuals. I moved back to my hometown of Saratoga Springs NY in 2010 to further pursue my photography. In 2010 I photographed my first wedding on my own in Vermont and I was hooked.
