I hired them to do a complete remodel of my home. The remodeled my kitchen and both bathrooms, refinished my floors, installed new doors, painted the interior and exterior, all new plumbing, all new electrical, new landscaping. Had a great experience with them. Always answered my calls and their work was far less expensive than others I received quotes from.

I hired AHS in early January to help me with some projects around the house. Would definitely use them again.

I strongly recommend to not hire these people. These guys are those nightmare contracts that you hear stories about. I had a bunch of projects around the house I needed help with including painting a loft, pressure washing my house, caulking bathrooms, and a few other small things. A guy came over an evaluated the work and said it was easily something that could be completed in one 8 hour day. I agreed to his hourly price, which was high to begin with but I really needed the help and was supposed to cost around $600. After that first day they had left before I got home from work, working a 6 1/2 hour day, they barely finished a quarter of what I wanted done. Basically, all they did was sprayed bleach on the house and put one coat of paint in the room I needed done, by the way I had already moved all the furniture and provided the painting supplies. They also ended up borrowing my pressure washer because it was more powerful than the one they brought! I have an electric pressure washer meant for patios and furniture not two story houses and that was better than what they had. When I called the guy who gave me the estimate to see what happened, he was full of excuses and when I questioned him on how much this was going to end up costing, he basically said I would just have to see how many hours it would end up being. Which by my estimation was at least double what he quoted me, if not more. Again, seeing that the there was at least another full days work, maybe more, I expressed frustration that his estimate was so far off. He proceeded to calling me an a$$hole and other things. So I basically ended up terminating services with him not wanting anything to do with them anymore. I told him I would pay him for the 6 1/2 hours for the day, again huge rip off for what they got done, and was going to be done with it. The next day I found that they had gotten bleach on my front door and one of the decorative shutters near the door and it ended up leaving yellowish spots all over the green front door and a few on the shutter. I contacted them again and rather than deal with them any more I wanted to just pay him a little less for the time and supplies to fix the paint, again not a huge amount. He called me and was all pissed off. He said he would come fix it, but I really didn't want him do anymore work because frankly I felt it would be half a$$'d at best. I told him that's not what I wanted and he proceeded to again call me an a$$hole numerous times and threatened to put a contractors lean on my house and take me to court. Never said I wouldn't pay, just wanted to be compensated for the damages they caused. Tired of his idle threats and insults, I told him numerous times that I would pay him the full amount, but he still continued. They basically scammed me by giving me a reasonable quote knowing that they were going to put me into a spot where either I would have to pay them more to get done what I wanted or over pay for what little they did. Strongly urge to stay away unless you want to over pay for mediocre work by a company run by a scumbag.
