- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is per page depending on the turnaround time of each project. Upon request, I will provide an estimate of the amount of pages anticipated for your particular project based on the length of the audio being transcribed and will accept a deposit at the beginning of the project. At the time of completion of the transcript, either a refund will be issued or you will be billed for the difference in the estimate. I accept payment via online payment through QuickBooks accepting Visa and Mastercard.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I contact the customer to get the length of the audio being transcribed and provide an estimate for anticipated costs of preparing the transcript. Upon pre-payment of the estimate made, the transcript will be prepared.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I obtained my paralegal certificate in 1989. I thereafter worked for a law firm as a legal assistant for 10 years. I am now certified as an Electronic Transcriber with the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers, Inc.
