FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs Ford Video completes for clients includes videotaping a wide variety of events, editing instructional, marketing, educational, as well as personal family programs. We also duplicate to and from all types of video formats.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Every spring, for the past 15 years we provide a 4 camera shoot in 4 classrooms of a business case competition at a local university. Years ago we provided each student competitor a VHS copy at the end of the day! As soon as technology improved we began duplicating the student presentations onto DVDs with the same day turn around. But as video technology continued to change so did the services we could provide for them. Now, as soon as the competition is over we race the video footage back to Ford Video and we capture and encode all of the presentations into quick time format and then immediately upload them to the web so the students, staff and families can watch any of the 16 morning presentations or any of the exciting final 4 teams that present in the afternoon.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Ford Video is a woman-owned and operated family business started by Founder Pat Ford. Pat Ford passed her passion for video production on to her children and grandchildren, including her daughter, current president Susy Ford Warden. Several other daughters and grandchildren work on various projects as needed. As a family business, Ford Video offers a more personal experience for the client which can be hard to find at the larger studios.
