Laura has a great sense of style and a lot of patience. I can be very picky but she kept asking questions and then things just clicked! I was amazed at the speed she worked, flipping through the clothes on the racks and picking out pieces. I went home with several outfits I can mix and match and I learned how to style them. This was a eye-opening experience, thanks Laura!

I have strong style opinions but I have limited time and hate shopping. This made me hesitant anyone could efficiently help me AND really get my taste but I figured I'd give ZipStyle a try. Long story short...I'm really glad I did. I saved time, money (from buying clothes and not actually wearing them), and I have to admit that my style game has improved by learning what works for my body. It's a relief to know I can lean on Laura in the future to solve my style and wardrobe frustrations. Highly recommend.

Two years ago I contacted ZipStyle because I set a goal to dress better and I knew I needed help. I was not disappointed. Laura knew exactly how to get me to where I wanted to be. She listened to my thoughts, developed a plan for shopping, and found key pieces to add to my closet. I was so happy with the results that I decided to recently hire her again to keep improving my wardrobe. I’m looking forward to it and highly recommend Laura.

I hired Laura to create a new look and wardrobe and I was very impressed. When we went shopping, she knew based on what was in my closet what kind of clothes I like but also shared her thoughts and made me try on things that I ended up loving!

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a 30 minute free phone consultation to better understand your needs and goals. The purpose is for you to get to know me and my approach and for me to learn about your specific situation and why you are looking for a stylist. This helps both of us to determine if we would work well together. You can easily schedule the free phone consultation online at: zipstyleseattle.youcanbook.me/

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I recommend talking to a few stylists on the phone to determine if you have a good rapport with them. I find clients want someone they feel comfortable with - not just talking about clothes, but about their lifestyle, their work goals, and how they want to present themselves to the world. This requires trust and a good working relationship. Find someone you want to spend time with!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think about your goals - how do you define success? For example, do you want a few new pieces for your wardrobe? A complete overhaul? This will determine the approach to solving your issues and help me get you to where you want to be!
